Serving In Our Congregation
Engaging Our Gifts Within the Building Walls
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. – Ephesians 2:8-10
We know that we are saved ONLY by the grace of God and NOT our works. However, in response to our salvation, we respond with good works and serving one another while here on earth. We serve both within the walls of the building and out in our community. You will find there are many ways people can serve.
It takes many people to keep the ministry of RLCA moving forward. We align opportunities to serve with people’s abilities and their willingness to serve. What are you good at and what time are you willing to set aside to serve? We look forward to partnering with you so that you can live out your life as a servant of Christ.
There are many possibilities within our walls….music, teaching, food preparation, cleaning, reading, administration, property and grounds, clerical, and financial are just a few.
