Feeding Kids Ministry is an outreach of Resurrection Lutheran Church of Alpena that serves elementary school children in the Alpena MI and Hillman MI areas who may not have adequate food for the weekend. Each Friday we send them home with a packet filled with easy to prepare food.

We engage people to help with this ministry in our communities and beyond. If you or your group have interest in volunteering for this worthwhile ministry by helping to pack food for one week’s distribution, please call (989) 590-4724. We appreciate any help you can give us.

Support for this ministry is always appreciated to provide meals on the weekends for the children. The food is purchased with money donated directly to this ministry and is not used for any other purpose.
